The Iredell County Crime Stoppers program represents a unique partnership created for a common cause; for the safety and protection of crime and theft against the citizens of Iredell County. Iredell Crime Stoppers has a community policing theme that brings together the components of local law enforcement, the media, and the community to assist law enforcement to solve crimes. Local Law enforcement personal release information, via the media, and social networking, to include unsolved crimes or people wanted for committing a crime, promising that the callers will remain anonymous if they provide information to them. The board of directors raises funds for the rewards and oversees how much is paid out each time to the person providing the information that leads to the arrest.  Crime Stoppers provides the average citizen an avenue for reporting crime to law enforcement while still remaining anonymous.  This is a great way to be a positive impact on Iredell County making it a better place to live, work, and raise a family.
