what is crime stoppers?

Crime Stoppers is an identity-protected means of reporting information relating to a crime that rewards citizens whose information results in an arrest. The person providing the information is then eligible to receive a cash reward for the information provide that leads to the arrest.

how crime stoppers works?

When a caller provides information they are given a coded number to protect their identity. A cash reward is paid if an arrest has been made using the information the caller provided and upon review of the case by an independent vote by the Board of Directors. The caller will then receive the cash reward for their information from Crime Stoppers.

Our mission statement

Iredell County Crime Stoppers is a nonprofit organization operated on a local level; it is built on a solid partnership between local law enforcement, the media, and local community members working together to help solve crime in our county. Crime Stoppers encourage citizens to become involved in solving crime in their own community, by offering cash rewards and anonymity, to those people who furnish valuable information leading to the arrest of the criminal.
